The exhibition Pia Arke - Dream and Repression is part of the series Louisiana on Paper currently on show at Louisiana. Pia Arke (1958-2007) created significant contributions to the staged photography, and she was the first artist to evoke images of the silence that characterized the history of Greenland's and Denmark's colonial conditions. Despite an early death, Pia Arke is today considered a very important artist, who with 15 works is the second best represented artist in Louisiana's collection.
