Necklace in sterling silver gilded with 22 carat gold from Danes, Flora Danica. The story of Flora Danica jewelery dates back to 1952, when one of the 1930s popular variety artists, Orla Eggert, developed the idea of making jewelery based on nature's unique designs.

The first Flora Danica jewelery was based on a copper covering of flowers and leaves, which was skillfully transformed by skilled professionals into a piece of jewelery which was subsequently plated with 22 carat gold.

Already in the 1960s, Flora Danica found it difficult to obtain all the flowers and leaves that needed to be used in the rapidly growing production. In particular, it was difficult to obtain all the four-leaf clovers that the customers requested. That's why there was a regular ad in the newspaper calling on people to hand in four-leaf clovers every Sunday - and as a reward there was one kroner per one. four leaf clover.

Many of Flora Danica's jewelery was - and still is to this day - based 100% on the original casts of flowers and leaves from Danish nature in the 1950s and 60s.

In full length, the chain measures 60 cm, but can easily be made shorter by simply placing the lock differently on the chain. Each "blade of grass" measures 5 x 0.4 cm.
