From the beginning, Saxbo had to mass-produce utility items at reasonable prices, as opposed to the exclusive one-of-a-kind clothing that dominated the market. In collaboration with Eva Stæhr-Nielsen, who for many years was the workshop's main designer, and artisans such as Gunnar Nylund, Lillian Binderup Jensen, Axel Salto, Jais Nielsen and Kirsten Weeke, Saxbo created iconic objects. Nathalie Krebs equipped the works with glazes, which she continued to develop throughout the years.

An actual mass production never took place, and at the last burning of the workshop in 1968, Nathalie Krebs could look back on a voluminous production of art treasures, which today form part of private and public collections.

With contributions from Anders Uhrskov, Jette Hoffmeyer, Mirjam Gelfer-Jørgensen, Kevin Henry, Gunnar Jakobsen, Heidi Laura and Elsebeth Welander-Berggren. Illustrated with numerous historical photographs and recent recordings of e.g. Erik Balle Povlsen.
