When they exhibited for the first time in 1992, their works generated much enthusiasm and interest, especially from Barney's in New York, who placed an order for scarves. This proved instrumental in laying the foundation for the Wallace & Sewell brand. Barneys still buys today.

The brand has designed and produced for various boutique hotels, museums, stadiums and the London Underground, and Wallace & Sewell today supplies over 400 retailers in 25 countries.

Wallace & Sewell's textiles are all produced in England, from natural fibres, from established yarn suppliers. The brand's merino wool is from 100% mulesing-free sheep.
