Modern Architecture is a pocket-sized visual guide to the great buildings and structures of our modern age from around the world, presented by architecture expert Jonathan Glancey. In nine thematic chapters, every movement in architecture from 1900 to the present day is represented.
With a focus on one building per page, Glancey discusses over 500 landmark structures from those now considered classics of modern architecture. Such as L'Institut du Monde Arab in Paris and the Sydney Opera House, to more recent icons such as the Swiss Re building in London and the Parliamentary Library in New Delhi.
English Jonathan Glancey is a journalist, author and broadcaster.
