Stoneware and cement teapot designed by the French designer, Frédérick Gautier, for the Belgian design brand, Serax. With a distinct preference for simple forms with rough concrete aspects, Frédérick Gautier pays tribute to architecture with his 'Urbanistic Ceramics'. The 'micro-architecture' of the teapots by Frédérick Gautier has references to masters such as Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer.

Frédérick Gautier, who has more than 20 years of experience as an artistic director and initiator of countless cultural projects, threw himself into new adventures after his studies at the École du Paysage in Versailles. Here he fell in love with modeling and ceramics, and his fascination with raw and industrial architecture led him to search for a type of clay that, after firing, resembled concrete to perfection.

The teapot is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe up to 250 degrees.
