Studio Arhojs Slurp Cup is a hand-turned and glazed porcelain cup. The flowing glaze forms a special play of colors and the appearance can vary from cup to cup. The Slurp cup is a larger version of the Studio Arhoj Sip Cup, and is available in several colors that we have selected for the webshop. Studio Arhoj is world-renowned for their handmade ceramics and designer goods.
Ceramicist and artist Anders Arhoj began working with design and interiors in Tokyo in 2005. His designs are inspired by both Japanese and Scandinavian culture and have a playful and childlike expression.
Arhoj emphasizes that his designs are produced in Denmark and in 2013 he opened his own design and production studio in Copenhagen. Here, Arhoj's products are designed and handmade, and he can thereby get involved in the development and manufacturing as well as get up close to the products and check the quality.
Note: The processing means that no two cups are exactly alike and can therefore vary slightly in appearance and colour.
Arhoj Slurp cup is microwave and dishwasher safe. But Studio Arhoj recommends hand washing.
It is recommended that you wait to pour boiling water into the mug until the water has stopped bubbling, to avoid cracking the cup or the glaze.
