Author Judith Zilczer (b. 1948) is an art historian and former Curator Emerita of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution: She organized more than two dozen exhibitions during her twenty-nine years at the museum, serving as historian, curator of paintings, and acting chief curator .
