Panton – Environments, colors, systems, patterns is illustrated with images and sketches from Verner Panton's archive as well as rare images from his private photo album. The book is based on Verner Panton as a pioneer of important innovations in post-war design history, and his work is placed in relation to a contemporary context.
Lecturer and Ph.D. at the Art Academy's School of Design, Ida Engholm, and associate professor and Ph.D. at the University of Copenhagen, Anders Michelsen, has created a portrait of one of Denmark's leading designers with 'Panton – Environments, colours, systems, patterns'. Together they describe Verner Panton's life's work and place it in a historical and theoretical context.
