Anniversary poster with the work, Homo Decorans , (1985), by the American artist, Keith Haring (1958-1990). The poster is a reprint of the exhibition poster from Louisiana's 1985 exhibition, The Decorating Man, which covered all the visual arts from architecture and design to visual arts to fashion.

The poster's eye-catching motif is a detail from Haring's huge mural, which the American pop artist and street artist carried out in Louisiana in July 1985. Without sketches or pre-work, he painted in 2 days a 15-metre-long and 2.5-metre-high picture, which represents his personal universe with its multitude of human figures, animals and signs.

Patterns and harsh colors were at the center of the exhibition, Homo Decorans. Blooming textiles, pink stoneware and gilded porcelain harmonized with the punk-inspired clothing of the time.

American Keith Haring moved to New York in 1977 and was inspired by graffiti art. Only from 1985 did he start painting on canvas - until then he painted on the city's wall surfaces, train trunks, subway walls etc.

The poster is one of the anniversary posters that were reprinted in connection with Louisiana's 60th anniversary in 2018.
