About Studio Fie Paarup
Fie Paarup (b. 1985) is a Danish designer and artist. A design studio with a focus on light, atmosphere and craftsmanship. Paarup's artistic work delves into the essence of natural phenomena, perception and tactile experiences.

A deep fascination with the interaction between light and materials is explored through tangible objects of different scales. Her work involves a form of translation of dynamic natural processes into tangible art forms. Through this transformation, light, color and space intertwine, offering a phenomenological web of perception, imagination, feeling and consciousness.

Paarup's practice spans widely from textile art and steel objects to lighting and interior design, each with a echoes of tactile materials and a fascination with the many properties of light

To reduce the environmental impact, production is kept locally in Denmark, specifically in Odder, in a small workshop where every part of the Sun Catcher has been in the hands of real people. The steel comes from Italy, and the mobile is only produced in small quantities
lots on demand.

Each individual Sun Catcher may contain minor irregularities. This is part of the individual design and production process from the creative hand and should not be considered a fault.
