The Wagenfeld table lamp from Tecnolumen is one of the most well-known and popular lamps from the Bauhaus period, and was designed in 1924 by Wilhelm Wagenfeld. The timeless classic is also known as the Bauhaus light and consists of a round, clear glass base, a glass rod with a nickel-plated 10 mm tube and a dome-shaped, hand-blown opal glass shade.
Based on Wilhelm Wagenfeld's (1900-1990) designs in glass and metal, he is considered to be one of the most important industrial designers of his time. He was admitted to the world famous Bauhaus school in Weimar, Germany, where he created his first table lamp - the design icon, the Wagenfeld lamp.
