Three mouth-blown and hand-painted glass balls with hanging ribbon, designed Louisiana. The balls' graphic expression is inspired by three pieces of Louisiana's characteristic architecture: the wall with the projecting bricks at the museum's cafe, the glass corridor with floor-to-ceiling windows between the black battens in the north wing and the Giacometti hall with a view of the Sea Garden. Comes in a gift box.
The architects behind Louisiana, Jørgen Bo and Vilhelm Wohlert, made use of a holistic approach that, right from the museum's opening in 1958, characterized their understated and refined use of details and materials in central parts of Louisiana's architecture.
