The stylish lantern designed by Vilhelm Wohlert is a Louisiana classic and part of Louisiana's own interior collection. The lantern fits an ordinary candle and you can remove the glass around the candle, so it is easy to light the candle. A nice lantern to create atmosphere on the terrace on a summer evening.
Louisiana's unique architecture was created by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and Jørgen Bo. In connection with the opening of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1958, Vilhelm Wohlert also created design objects to be used in the museum.
The black lantern with glass is part of this original Louisiana Design collection.
Louisiana Design is based on simple, recognizable forms that refer to the museum's architecture. The design series consists of a tray, a lantern, a paper basket and two smaller storage boxes.
The Louisiana Design collection can only be purchased in the Louisiana Design Shop - online and in the physical store at the museum.
