Book case from the Danish company Loudliving. In close collaboration with one of the country's leading companies in recycling used materials and interiors, Loudliving, the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art has transformed an exhibition shelf into a unique series of furniture and design objects. The shelf was built as an inventory and used in the exhibition Arkitekturens værksteder: Cave_bureau.
When the exhibition Arkitekturens værksteder: Cave_bureau ended at the beginning of the year, the shelf was dismantled and taken to Loudliving's workshop in Helsingør. Here it underwent a major transformation, where it was disassembled and each piece was subsequently reassembled to create a beautiful, striped wooden structure.
The series consists of a coffee table, side table, bookcase with two different depths and three different trays. All are made of softwood and produced in a limited edition. The series is available in the natural color of softwood enhanced with wood oil. The side table, bookcases and trays are also available in an indigo blue version.
