Kaare Klint was a visionary furniture designer and teacher who revolutionized design history and is considered the father of modern Danish design. Kaare Klint has, among other things, designed the Faaborg Chair from 1914, the Safari Chair from 1933 and furniture for the reception area of the Danish Pavilion at the World Exhibition in Barcelona in 1929. Klint insisted on a clear and logical design, clean lines, exquisite materials and superb craftsmanship.
