KA52 - handmade stool in oak from the Danish design brand, Kath & Andersen, which produces furniture based on three principles: Good craftsmanship, quality and durability. Casper and Thomas Andersen's fascination with working with wood as a material began with the first workshop in their parents' backyard. Later, the brothers inherited a complete joinery from Fanø and today it is still central to them that they can quickly create a prototype from an idea and thus see the concept in practice.

KA52 is specially put together by virtue of the so-called dovetail assembly - inspired by the Danish half-timbered tradition, where houses are assembled by ensuring that all parts of the construction lock and hold each other in place. The same principle applies to the KA52.
The stool from Kath og Andersen combines Danish craftsmanship with modern design. It is simple in its expression, but full of delicious details. The stool is handmade at the brand's workshop in Kolding.
