Storm Kids Chair - a designer children's chair from Danish Oaklings, founded by Anja Pajor in 2020. After a year of reflection, a fondness for the simple craftsmanship tradition in classic, Nordic design - and a concrete need for a chair for her daughter - Pajor created the series of children's furniture in collaboration with renowned Danish designer Nina Bruun. With Bruun's Storm Kids Chair , Oaklings has won the German Design Award 2024 in the furniture category, "Excellent Product Design – Furniture".
The Storm children's chair was designed by Nina Bruun in 2021 with a conscious approach to both aesthetics and functionality, and the chair's lines refer to Oakling's other chair designs.
When purchasing the chair, a set of brass plates is included, which can be engraved with the child's name - or a personal greeting to the recipient if the chair is given as a gift.
Storm is made from solid oak in European factories and is subsequently treated with a non-toxic, matt lacquer that makes the chair easy to clean.
The chair complies with all European safety requirements and is tested according to the European standard, DS/EN17191_2021. Age: 3-6 years.

As a natural product, the chair may have minor deviations in the wood. Gentle cleaning with a cloth and a little washing-up liquid is recommended. Very high or fluctuating humidity can make the wood more fragile and can lead to cracks in the furniture.
