The crossbody bag Darla is created by the Danish design brand Markberg made of recycled plastic, from Global-Recycled-Standard certified material. Seven plastic bottles have been recycled to make this specific product.
The bag is water-resistant and made of durable material, with a zip pocket and pocket with button on the front and a small pocket inside. The bag closes with a zip and has an adjustable crossbody strap with a maximum length of 127 cm.
The design duo and the couple behind the brand Markberg have come together in the vision of creating leather bags and accessories from less environmentally harmful materials in a simple, Scandinavian design. The core values are timeless design and quality, where functionality has not been compromised. The focus is on there being a balance between both materials, producer and consumer. Therefore, all Markberg bags are produced based on the principle of no leather waste. As a pioneer in the industry, Markberg has dedicated himself to working on using the residual materials for other products such as wallets and key rings.
