Tube pendant lamp - 16 cm

Tube Pendant, a pendant lamp from Danish Moebe , shines from a solid aluminum tube, lined with translucent paper. The upper shade can be easily adjusted to spread the light upwards, and the paper can be pulled out slightly to give the light at the edge of the lamp a soft, warm glow.

MoMoebe produces furniture and lifestyle objects, with sustainable ambitions of simplicity, durability, repairability and manufacturing as much as possible from certified raw materials. The brand was created in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergard Christensen, Nicholas Oldroyd and cabinetmaker, Anders Thams and the team develops all designs from their studio workshop on Amager in Copenhagen.

Moebe seeks to support the need for “less” in their design. What is the core function, and how do you remove the unnecessary? How can you do more with less? And how do you screw a product together so that it lasts as long as possible?
