Luxury briefcase in vegetable tanned, certified and recycled buffalo leather, from the Danish brand, Velorbis. The bag's gun-button closure opens to a spacious interior that has three side pockets for organizing small items and a separate exterior zip pocket at the back for easy – and secure – access to small items. The briefcase has a classic carrying handle and a removable and adjustable shoulder strap.
The folder's leather comes from slaughtered, Indian buffalo meat cattle, from which Velorbis recycles the hide via vegetable tanning without the use of, among other things, chromium. Velorbis' leather production is certified by the international LWG - Leather Working Group - which works for best practice and environmental certification of the leather industry internationally.
Velorbis is particularly known for its quality bicycles in classic style and aesthetics. The founders, Christian Linde and Kenneth Bødiker, combine world-renowned Danish design with the Copenhagen cycling culture and design their own bicycles – not least the classic city bicycle. Alongside the bicycles, Velorbis also designs lifestyle products for urban transport – for example, leather-covered bicycle helmets and bags in several different designs.
