Art book by avant-garde artist Yoko Ono. The book combines never-before-published texts written in 2016-2018 with drawings from the "Franklin Summer" series, which she began in 1994.
Born in Tokyo in 1933, Yoko Ono was the first woman to be accepted into the philosophy program at Gakushuin University in Tokyo, where she studied before moving to New York in 1953. By 1960, she had become part of the New York avant-garde and the international Fluxus movements, serving as a critical link between the American and Japanese avant-gardes and paving the way for new idioms in performance and art.
