Hello Kitty wooden figure from the Danish brand, Boyhood, founded by designer, Jacob Burgsø. When Jakob was a boy, he spent a lot of time in his father's workshop. His father wanted to teach him basic craft skills and Jakob fell in love with the idea of creating with his bare hands. He quit his job as a graphic designer, learned how to operate power tools from volunteers his father's age, and during the first four years he hand-made every single product himself - and had created the Boyhood brand.
Hello Kitty is the newest addition to the Boyhood family of wooden figures. Jacob Burgsø tells:
“It is crucial for us – and it lives in the Boyhood DNA – that our designs are rooted in happy memories, that our designs tell a story. It could be mine, my wife's or our children's. Every Boyhood character should make you smile and reminisce. It is created to make you think of a nice memory that you have shared with your loved ones.”
