Ethan Cook was born in 1983 in a small town in Texas, USA. He moved to New York in 2008, where he now lives and works as an artist and designer in Soho. Cook is best known for his abstract woven compositions, with bold color compositions. He explores structural minimalism and simplicity.
Ethan Cook's works have been exhibited together with other artists since 2009 and he had his first solo exhibition in 2014. For HAY he has designed the entire Flat Works series.
