The stylish box, designed by Vilhelm Wohlert, is a Louisiana classic and part of Louisiana's own interior collection. The box is made of anodised aluminium, which has given the box a very special decorative and durable surface - with a beautiful finish.
Louisiana's unique architecture was created by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and Jørgen Bo. In connection with the opening of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1958, Vilhelm Wohlert also created design objects to be used in the museum.
The black box with lid is part of this original Louisiana Design collection.
Louisiana Design is based on simple, recognizable forms that refer to the museum's architecture. The design series consists of a tray, a lantern, a paper basket and two smaller storage boxes.
The Louisiana Design collection can only be purchased in the Louisiana Design Shop - online and in the physical store at the museum.
