Dea Trier Mørch (1941-2001) is a loner in Danish art. This book is the first comprehensive presentation of Dea Trier Mørch's graphic production from the years 1967-77. The motifs range from depictions of births and everyday life to political events of the time.
Dea Trier Mørch began as a visual artist. At the age of 16, she was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts' painting school, but had her popular breakthrough as an author with Vinterbørn in 1976. She was also an active part of the artist collective Røde Mor from 1969 to 1977.
The richly illustrated book is published on the occasion of Louisiana's exhibition Dea Trier Mørch – Into the world. The book contains a thorough introduction to the artist written by the exhibition's curator, Marie Laurberg, as well as a comprehensive biography told in words and pictures.
