Mouth-blown and hand-painted glass ball with hanging ribbon, designed by Louisiana. The ball is inspired by a temple tree in the museum's park. When Louisiana was to be built, the museum's founder and the two architects who designed the museum, Jørgen Bo and Vilhelm Wohlert, walked around the site for several months to locate the most beautiful views - and the most beautiful trees - in order to understand the place and the nature that was to be stay in Louisiana. Comes in a gift box.
The park's heavily hilly terrain has been continually cared for and adjusted since the museum's opening in 1958, and the final design is characterized by the balance between the central, clearly shaped areas and the more free-growing, nature-influenced areas on the park's periphery.
