Classic, handmade lambskin gloves from Royal Court supplier, Randers Handsker - today, Rhanders - founded in 1811 and with roots going all the way back to the 1250s. Rhanders has supplied gloves to royal families since the beginning: Princess Dagmar continued to buy Rhanders gloves after she became Tsarina of Russia. The French Queen, Marie Antoinette allegedly wanted gloves from Randers because of the way they made her hands feel soft and delicious, but also because of the recognizable aroma - which originated from the Kalmus flower, brought to the Gudenå in Randers by monks, and used in the tanning process.
Rhanders is today the royal court supplier to HM Queen Margrethe II and HRH Crown Princess Mary, as well as to the entire royal family. The brand designs and produces gloves for the navy, the police and the Royal Life Guard.
Rhanders has more than 300 models in the standard range, which are sold in specialist shops in Scandinavia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Japan.
The gloves here are one of Rhanders' classic styles, in lambskin and with a wool blend lining, handmade and sewn with full pique.
