Free the carpet from Anderssen & Voll for Røros Tweed reminiscent of late autumn with its colours. The Fri collection is inspired by traditional runners, of which there are endless variations in almost every mountain hut in Norway. With this reinterpretation, the typical repeated color rhythm dissolves somewhat, and the colors change to a soft and twisted zigzag. The carpet is available in different colours.

Peder Hiort, who was director of the Røros Copper Works in the 18th century, bequeathed his entire fortune to the poor of Røros - a will which is characterized as one of the wisest donations in the Nordics, as it showed a unique foresight and a social responsibility which still has its justification today in other parts of the world.

Røros Tweed is a continuation of the Hiort Foundation's Homework business, it began with weaving courses in 1938, where the textiles were produced in people's private homes, later investments were made in machines, and everything was transferred to factory production. The factory's production is now concentrated on textiles of 100% pure new wool, with designs inspired by the cultural heritage and the fascinating high mountain nature of Røros.

Dimensions: 150 x 200 cm.
Material: 100% new wool
Colour: Blue
Design: Røros

Care: The lambswool rug can only be cleaned by hand washing at 30 degrees.
