The World of Yayoi Kusama , illustrated by Laura Callaghan, is a puzzle game for both young and old, with a theme about the world-famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The motif consists of Yayoi Kusama in the middle and around it is presented a selection of pictorial motifs from her life - art, career, family and friends. The pieces are produced in 90 percent recycled cardboard and the box in 70 percent recycled cardboard.
Yayoi Kusama is a contemporary Japanese artist and writer who has a love for dots, and who primarily works in sculpture and installation, but also works in e.g. paintings and performance. Since 2008, her installation Gleaming Lights of the Souls has been presented at Louisiana and consists of a room where the walls and ceilings are covered with mirrors, the floor is a water mirror, and you stand in the middle of the water on a platform. The work was acquired by the museum after a major exhibition with the artist in 2015.
