Rytter has created a piece of expressionistic architecture with inspiration from the brick structure of Copenhagen's Grundtvig's Church – and from the ripples on the surface of the water in the nearby lakes.

Vibeke Rytter is also a painter and does scientific research into material types – including ceramics. Rytter has received several awards for her design and her works are represented in museums around the world – and in a permanent exhibition at the Design Museum in Denmark.
