Form & Refine was founded in 2018 by the furniture architects behind Herman Studio, Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen, and CEO, Lasse Lund Lauridsen. The brand strives to create design products with less environmental impact, and is, among other things, co-owner of Damsbo Skov on Funen, from which they purchase wood when the natural balance of the forest allows. They use the wood for their Danish-made furniture, so the entire production – from the first germinating seeds to the finished product – takes place in Denmark.
