The book Imago contains plenty of inspiration for a new and more immediate way of experiencing art. There is always a place in a picture that 'trigger' you – a place where the picture contacts you. It could be a curtain or the folds in a robe or the way a person sits or stands. In 15 chapters, Annette Hvidt describes a number of themes and suggests ways to open the pictures. In addition, there are sensations or associations: a text that reproduces the thoughts/memories that the picture evokes in the author, or quotes from the artist's diary or something completely different.
