Rayne leather bag with shoulder strap from the Danish brand, Markberg. The idea for Markberg arose when Mette Markberg had to buy new gloves in 2008 and could not find the right ones, with the right mix of design and function. Together with her husband, Mark, she set about developing high-quality designer gloves. Shortly after, the bags arrived.

Markberg focuses on there being a balance between materials, producer and consumer. As a pioneer in the industry, Markberg has dedicated himself to working on using the residual materials for other products such as wallets and key rings. The ideal is timeless design and quality, where functionality has not been compromised.

Markberg is also behind a collection of bags, made from recycled plastic bottles, which was launched in spring 2020.
