Frédérick Gautier teapot Sale price€71,95

Teapot in stoneware and cement designed by French designer, Frédérick Gautier, for Belgian design brand, Serax. With a distinct preference for simple shapes with rough concrete aspects, Frédérick Gautier pays homage to architecture with his 'Urbanistic Ceramics'. The 'microarchitecture' of the teapots by Frédérick Gautier has references to masters such as Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer.

Frédérick Gautier, who has more than 20 years of experience as an artistic director and initiator of countless cultural projects, embarked on new adventures after his studies at the École du Paysage in Versailles. Here he fell in love with modeling and ceramics, and his fascination with raw and industrial architecture led him to search for a type of clay that, after firing, resembled concrete to perfection.

The teapot is dishwasher, microwave and oven safe up to 250 degrees.
