___
Louisiana's unique architecture was created by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and Jørgen Bo. In connection with the opening of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1958, Vilhelm Wohlert also created design objects to be used in the museum. The black can with lid is part of this original Louisiana Design collection.
Louisiana Design is based on simple, recognizable shapes that reference the museum's architecture. The design series consists of a tray, a lantern, a wastebasket and two smaller storage boxes.
The Louisiana Design collection can only be purchased at the Louisiana Design Store - online and in the physical store at the museum while supplies last.
