Teapot Rutunda – sand

Dutch design brand Kinta has designed this teapot as part of their Rotunda collection. Inspired by round and soft shapes and the gentle colors of nature, this teapot was created by potters in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Kinta collaborates with 8th generation ceramicists in Hanoi, who continue the ancient traditions of craftsmanship in Vietnam. Inspired and colored by nature's own materials, this earthenware pot has a reddish hue, as a consequence of the iron in the clay. The Rotunda collection is created from local resources and the potters mix the colors in the series themselves. The teapot is baked at a high temperature, making it suitable for both microwave and dishwasher.
