Here you will find a selection of Louisiana Posters that have been fully glued, laminated and mounted in a frame. What is called a Louisiana Framing among our museum guests.
As a brand new addition, you can now buy Louisiana posters with an anti-glare framing. Initially, it is the popular posters with works by the American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, which can be purchased with the special Louisiana Framing in the webshop. The poster is delivered pre-framed in an modern frame made of oak veneer and with a matte laminated surface that significantly reduces reflections from light sources compared to regular glass. The result is a beautiful, calm visual expression – completely glare-free.
Mounted
Mount means that the poster is fully glued onto a specially developed 10mm board, which makes the framing extra stable. This ensures that the poster neither curls nor collapses in the frame – a particular advantage for larger formats, where stability and finish are crucial.
Lamination
The most distinctive feature of a Louisiana Framing is the lamination. Here, a protective foil is applied directly to the surface of the poster, replacing the need for glass. We use a matte lamination, which significantly reduces reflections compared to frames with glass or acrylic glass. This gives an exclusive and harmonious expression with optimal visibility from all angles.
