Anti-Reflective framing – Simon Evans Everything I Have (2008)

Poster with anti-reflective framing of the artwork Everything I Have (2008) by British artist Simon Evans (b. 1972). The poster comes pre-framed with a matte laminated surface, which significantly reduces reflections from light sources compared to ordinary glass and provides an attractive, calm visual expression without glare. The frame is made of oak veneer.

With the artwork, Evans maps everything he owns through more than a thousand small illustrations of his possessions. The poster was printed in connection with Louisiana's major international contemporary art exhibition, The World is Yours, in 2009.

The exhibition, The World is Yours, presented works by more than 20 acclaimed artists from around the world, many of whom were introduced to a Danish audience for the first time – among them, Simon Evans.

Evans lived out a childhood dream as a skater in San Francisco, then began writing and broke through as a visual artist in 2003. Evans works with text-based collages – often composed of short poetic sentences and drawings. Simon Evans captures the poetry of everyday life, to which he can maintain an ironic distance.
