Cyanotype kit from the Danish brand, Maibritt Amsler. Cyanotype (also called blue printing or light printing) is an old photographic technique from the 19th century, where light-sensitive emulsion is developed in sunlight. Cyanotype is easy and everyone can make the finest prints of e.g. plant parts with the included guide booklet in hand. Cyanotype can be made on paper, wood, fabric, eggs etc. and there are a lot of ideas on e.g. Pinterest.

The included emulsion can last for years in powder form. When the powder is mixed with water, the shelf life is approximately one year. There is enough liquid for more than 100 postcard-sized prints (supplement with watercolor paper yourself).
