Sinuate Pendant – Large

The Sinuate Pendant Large from the Danish design brand Moebe is a layered paper lampshade that is formed purely through tension – completely without glue or fasteners. It is made from two sheets of Japanese paper with small connecting holes, which are mounted on a star-shaped bracket in stainless steel or brass. When pressed into place, the paper bends to form a soft, sculptural shape. The inner layer directs light downwards, while the outer layer gently diffuses it across the surface, giving the lamp its warm and even glow. The lamp is available in two sizes and comes pre-assembled and ready to hang.

Moebe was founded in 2014 by architects Martin de Neergaard Christensen and Nicholas Oldroyd, and cabinetmaker Anders Thams. All their designs are developed from their studio workshop on Amager in Copenhagen. With every design, they aim to create intelligently constructed, high-quality products that not only function optimally and look beautiful, but also inspire people to live with fewer distractions and become part of a growing movement of people who value honesty, simplicity, and the desire for "less."
