The spoon is inspired by those once sold at the kitchenware store E. Dehillerin in Paris. Its tapered head makes it easy to reach every corner of the pot and stir with precision, while the sharply rounded edge reduces drips and provides an effective scraping surface without being fragile. The spoon is hand-sanded and finished manually.
It all started with a cooking spoon – or rather, the absence of the perfect one. The meeting between ironmonger Per Nikolaj Kampmann and designer Steen Higham marked the beginning of a collaboration aimed at giving cooking enthusiasts something truly special. Steen had originally come to sell a few cutting boards, but the conversation quickly turned into a shared passion for quality, material choice, and functional aesthetics. Together, they decided to create the finest line of wooden kitchen utensils on the market – beautiful, pleasant to handle, and highly functional.
All utensils are made from certified teak from plantations in northern Thailand. Teak’s elasticity, dense structure, and natural oil content make the utensils durable, comfortable to use, and even more beautiful over time.
Care: Hand wash only. The surface can occasionally be refreshed with food-grade oil to restore the wood’s color.
