Pillow Matre Stripe 40 x 60 cm

Hand-sewn cushion from the Norwegian design brand Matre. The cushions are made in Matre’s distinctive Stripe textile – a woven fabric developed in Norway by Elizabeth Matre-Aas in collaboration with textile designer Saga Nilsson from Innvik. Each cushion is hand-sewn by the Norwegian social enterprise Moving Mamas, which provides women with international backgrounds with training and meaningful employment.

The textile is characterised by its rhythmic stripes and tactile depth, giving the cushions a strong visual identity and making them suitable for a wide range of interiors. They are available in both square and rectangular shapes and are designed to be easily combined and styled on sofas, chairs, and beds.

About Matre
Matre is a Norwegian design brand founded in 2023 by Elizabeth Matre-Aas and her husband Ole Kristian Bergsjø Aas, created from a deep passion for Norwegian cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and design traditions. Care
To preserve the quality and appearance of your Matre cushion, it is recommended to remove stains with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The cushion should not be machine washed or tumble dried.
