Resourcefulness - Danish Design 2.0 - 7 Design Experiments with Waste Materials Sale price€35,95

What does a modern door look like if it is made from discarded knotty wood? Can a new product be created from leather that is rejected due to wrinkles and scars? And what design possibilities do dented ceiling panels offer? Industrial waste materials can be transformed into beautiful and functional products. Read about seven design experiments from the research project 'ReshapeWaste'.

The seven projects were created by Danish designers and architects, all of whom worked with the common goal of giving life and purpose to materials that would otherwise end up as waste. The materials span a wide range – from raw concrete to poetic textiles – all telling the story of their origin. The reader is taken into the design process that the waste materials have gone through to emerge as new products.

The texts in the book are in Danish and English.
