The round table, Subeybaja, was designed in 1979 by Robert Heritage and Roger Web. The table has the special feature that it can be adjusted in height - at seven different levels, up and down. Subeybaja means "up and down" in Spanish and the name is naturally inspired by the functionality of the table.
The man behind Subeybaja is the most Design Council Award-winning British designer to date, Robert Heritage - same as British architect, Roger Webb, founder of Webb Associates Studio, home and office furniture specialists.
In 1953, Robert Heritage founded his own studio, where he designed furniture and lamps for well-known British brands. In addition to winning the many Design Council awards, in 1968 Robert Heritage designed furniture for the passenger liner, Queen Elizabeth II, together with the British textile designer, Ernest Race. Robert Heritage has taught furniture design at the Royal College of Art in London, so some of his renowned approach to furniture design has fortunately been passed on.
Roger Webb worked for 7 years with Professor Robert Heritage on a number of projects for prominent organisations. This collaboration became, among other things , Subeybaja. An extremely multifunctional table.

As the table is made of wood, there will be variation in the natural color of the wood and any irregularities, which do not affect the quality or design of the table.
The table is delivered unassembled in a box and assembly instructions are included.
