The teacup has a stackable design and a small, precisely shaped foot that makes it comfortable to hold and stable to place. The teacup is based on original designs by German ceramist Richard Manz.

The Table Project is created by Vibeke Panduro and Sofie Bech. The project brings together aesthetic products for the table – created by international designers and craftsmen. Their first collection dates back to 1616 / arita japan – a modern porcelain brand that originates from Arita, Japan’s historical center for porcelain production. The brand was created by designer Teruhiro Yanagihara and combines Japanese craftsmanship tradition with Scandinavian simplicity and functionality. The cup was created in collaboration with the family of German-born ceramist and designer Richard Manz (1934-2023), and is a tribute to his work and his importance to the field of ceramics – especially his focus on form, function and proportion.
