Tracey Emin – Meet me in Heaven I will wait for you (2024)

Louisiana poster featuring the work Meet me in Heaven I will wait for you, 2024, published in connection with the exhibition Tracey Emin: A Second Life on 8 October 2026. Tracey Emin (b. 1963) is known for her personal and direct artistic expression, where her own experiences, feelings and experiences form the basis for the works. Throughout her career, she has achieved international recognition and is today considered one of the most significant artists of her time.

Through painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, film and installation, the exhibition Tracey Emin: A Second Life – created in close collaboration with the artist and featuring works that have never before been shown – tells the entire story of and with Tracey Emin. A life of rape, abortion and very serious illness – a life in images, carried by creativity in spite of it all, by courage and struggle, despair and joy.
