Pencil case from the Danish design brand Elvo 1923.
Elvo was founded in 1923 by Valdemar Martin Ørstrup, who named his company after four of his children - Ellen, Leo, Villa and Orla. The company remained family-owned until 2019, and over the years has supplied boxes to many historic and creative workplaces in Denmark. The archive box, Ellen A4, is named after the daughter Ellen.
The Elvo factory is located in an authentic industrial backyard at Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, where all their products are handmade. The products are made from FSC-certified fibreboard, which is produced from 100% recycled paper and cardboard waste in Europe and Denmark.
The colors are only available at the Louisiana design store and webshop.
