Members
Yes. When you have a club card for Louisiana, you get a 10% discount on your purchase in the webshop.
Simply enter your membership number and click 'ADD DISCOUNT' when you place your order in the webshop. Your membership discount will then be automatically deducted, and it will appear in the final amount in your cart.
You can find your membership number under 'Club Card' in your Louisiana app or on the back of your physical Louisiana card.
We recommend that you are subscribed to the Louisiana Design Butik newsletter so that you are always notified when special offers are offered to Louisiana club members.
Your membership discount cannot be combined with other discounts where a discount code is used.
You buy a club card at Louisiana.dk , which gives you free entry for a whole year as well as a number of other member benefits. For example. 10% discount on purchases in the webshop and store.
Gifts
GLS deliveries :
We recommend that you order your Christmas gifts before Friday, December 19th at 10:00 AM for delivery before Christmas.
Danish Freight Forwarders deliveries :
If you order furniture or large frames to be shipped with Danske Fragtmænd, we recommend that the order is placed before December 19th at 12:00 PM for delivery before Christmas.
Please note that you must be at home upon delivery or choose to have the item placed on the street.
Where possible in relation to shipping, we will place the item in a Louisiana gift bag.
Yes, there is an extended right of return for Christmas gifts. Christmas gifts purchased from October 24, 2025 can be returned until January 11, 2026.
Please note, we generally offer 30-day returns.
Delivery
Shipping on orders to a Danish address is from 39 kroner, unless otherwise stated (for example, furniture and large frames).
Shipping costs are calculated after the delivery address has been entered and the delivery method has been selected.
We recommend that you choose home delivery when purchasing furniture. This will avoid redirection in the event of a lack of space in your parcel shop.
For some furnitures, it is only possible to send the package with a home delivery, as the package is too long/too wide for a parcel shop. In those cases, this will be stated in the product description.
Carrier
When you order large frames and large furniture, the order will be delivered by courier. You will be contacted directly regarding the delivery time, so you can make sure to be at the address for delivery. If you are not at home at the agreed delivery time, your item may be returned to the warehouse. In this case, please contact us directly for assistance.
The shipment will be delivered to the curb, or, if this is not possible, as close to your delivery address as possible. You are responsible for getting the delivery from the curb to your home. This service does not include removal of packaging or pallets.
You can also choose 'Must be placed'. Then you don't have to be at home, but you are of course responsible for ensuring that the shipment can be placed safely outside your residence.
International
If you are interested in delivering large frames or furniture internationally, please write to our customer service (webshop@louisiana.dk) to agree on shipping price and delivery date.
We ship worldwide.
Shipping costs will appear when you enter your delivery address.
If you would like to have large frames or furniture delivered internationally, please contact our customer service (webshop@louisiana.dk) to agree on shipping price and delivery date.
Your order will generally be shipped as soon as possible and within 1-2 business days after your order is received by us.
Orders are packed Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 15:30.
Note: If you place an order during a weekend or holiday period, the 1-2 days will be counted from the next business day.
Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email with your order confirmation, invoice and Track & Trace number so you can follow your package.
Please note that it is your responsibility to track your package via the Track & Trace link. If the package is not picked up, or if the shipping company has not been able to deliver the package to you, the package will be returned to us. In this case, your order will be canceled and we will deduct the return shipping from your refund. If you would like the package to be resent, please place a new order.
Please note that your order may be divided into several shipments, depending on the scope/size of your order and if it is a made-to-order item.
In that case, you will receive a separate email, with a link to a tracking number, for each individual package.
For products with special delivery terms, the delivery information will be provided on the product page.
During peak periods such as Christmas, sales, club campaigns or similar, delivery times may be longer.
We do not pack and deliver items on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Return and exchange
Yes. If you have purchased an item online at butik.louisiana.dk, you are welcome to return the item in store. Just remember that the item must be unused, in original packaging and with original labels/tags. Remember to bring your receipt or a completed return form.
How to return in store:
- You present your receipt or return slip.
- You will receive a receipt for delivery of the item.
- The price of the item, less any discount, will be refunded immediately after we have received the item, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received the returned item.
- The refund will be made using the same payment method and to the same account that was used for the original purchase.
- In the event of a decrease in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the original price.
Exception:
Large furniture cannot be returned to the museum store. Please contact our customer service for further arrangements regarding returns: webshop@louisiana.dk.
Exchange?
If you are interested in another item in the store, you are of course welcome to purchase it in the store. Unfortunately, we cannot offer direct exchanges from an item purchased online for another item in the store.
Please note that the range in the store may vary from the range in the webshop. We cannot guarantee that an item that you have seen in the webshop is also in the store. This may either be because the store does not have the item in its range or because it is sold out.
We offer 30 days full right of return. This assumes that the item is unused and in original packaging with all original labels/brands intact.
If you wish to get your money back for your item, this will be granted upon presentation of an invoice.

Buy return label
If you are sending the package from Denmark, you have the option to purchase a return label via our return portal. The price is 39 DKK, which will be deducted from the amount we refund you. The return label will be sent to you by email. The return label can only be used for one shipment and for packages that can be sent via GLS parcel shops.

Return label from a country other than Denmark
If you wish to purchase a return label from a country other than Denmark, the price is the same as when you received the package. The price will be offset against the refund. However, it is still a prerequisite that the package can be sent with GLS.
Unclaimed packages
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the item without clearly notifying us. If you choose not to pick up your package, we will charge you the return shipping fee, which is DKK 50 for Danish orders.
If the order was originally sent to a country other than Denmark, the refund for any uncollected package will be deducted from the shipping cost of having the order sent.

Custom-made furniture/products are not covered by the right of withdrawal. You cannot return furniture and products that have been ordered specifically for you, as this is designer furniture and falls under the category of custom-made furniture (made-to-order).
Please note: payment for custom-made products is charged at the time of ordering.
My order
If you have not received an e-mail with a confirmation of receipt of your order as well as a binding order confirmation, it is a good idea to check whether it has ended up in your folder with advertisements or junk mail. If this is not the case, you are welcome to contact our customer service. Please have your order number ready before contacting customer service by telephone. We also recommend that you check whether you have entered the correct e-mail address, as errors in this often result in missing e-mails from our system.
A damage report must be submitted 24 hours after delivery.
It is therefore important that you open your package and check all the contents.
This is especially important when there is visible damage to the package's packaging. Visible damage is, for example, pressure marks or holes in the packaging.
Documentation
Take a picture of the shipping label (showing the package's tracking number) and document any damage to both the outside and inside of the package, as well as the damage to the item.
Please save the packaging as it must be available for any inspection.
If there are any errors, deficiencies or damage to your goods upon receipt, please contact our customer service and make further arrangements, and we will of course exchange them for another item.
If there is damage to the packaging, the package must be opened immediately and if there is also damage to the contents of the package, you must notify us immediately. We must receive the complaint no later than 24 hours after receipt of the package or the next business day.
If there is no visible damage to the packaging, a complaint must be sent to us within 7 days.
However, we recommend that you always open your package upon receipt to check the package contents for any damage, errors and deficiencies.

Prices and assortment
Louisiana Design Butik's webshop has a curated selection of furniture, interior design, ceramics, books and accessories.
The selection varies from the physical store at the museum. Therefore, you may find that some items are available online but not in the physical store – and vice versa. This is either because the item is sold out or because the assortment is simply different. If the item is only available online due to assortment composition, this will be stated in the product description.
At butik.louisiana.dk we offer price matching on furniture and lamps.
What can I do if I find the item cheaper elsewhere?
Should you unexpectedly find an item cheaper at another Danish-owned webshop, we will price match it at the time of purchase. You can contact our customer service by email, with attached documentation (screenprint) and a link to the item in question. The staff needs to know when and where you saw the item cheaper in order to be able to help you further with your inquiry.
Price match criteria :
- The product must be sold from a Danish-owned webshop.
- The price must apply at the time of trading.
- The item must be the same model, color, and size.
- The item must be in stock at the competitor at the time of the price match.
- The item must not be a promotional, queue, membership or opening offer, be in limited quantities or wholesale.
- Price match is excluding shipping.
