Yes. When you have a club card for Louisiana, you get a 10% discount on your purchase in the webshop. Simply enter your card number, which you will find on the back of your Louisiana club card. Enter the card number in the field on the "basket" page, which you will arrive at when you need to pay. Then click on "apply", and you will see that 10% is automatically deducted from the price.
Also keep an eye out for special offers for members of the Louisiana Club. Your membership discount cannot be combined with other discounts where a discount code is used.
We recommend that you choose home delivery when you buy furniture. This way you avoid redirection in the event of a lack of space in your parcel shop.
Some furnitures may only be delivered as home delivery, due to the fact that the package is too long/too wide for a parcel shop. In those cases, it will be indicated in the product description.
When you order large furniture, the order is delivered by carrier. You will be contacted directly regarding the delivery time, so you can make sure you are home, when the package is out for delivery. If you are not at home at the agreed delivery time, your order will be returned to the warehouse. In that case, please contact us directly for assistance.
The shipment will be delivered to the curb or, if this is not possible, as close to your delivery address as possible. You are responsible for getting the delivery from the curb and into your home. This service does not include removal of packaging or pallets.
If you are interested in the delivery of furniture internationally, please send an email to our customer service (firstname.lastname@example.org) to agree the shipping price and delivery date.

Your order is generally sent as soon as possible and within 1-2 working days after your order has been received by us.
Orders are packed Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 15:30.
Please note, if you place an order during a weekend or public holiday, the 1-2 days are counted from the next working day.
When your order has been processed, you will receive an e-mail with your order confirmation, invoice and Track & Trace number, so you can follow your package.
Please note that your order may be split into several shipments, depending on where the goods are shipped from.
In that case, you will receive a separate email with a link to a tracking number for each package.
For products with special delivery conditions, the delivery information will be provided on the product page.
During peak seasons such as Christmas, sales, club campaigns or the like, longer delivery times may occur.
We do not pack and deliver goods on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Return and exchange
Yes. If you have purchased an item online at butik.louisiana.dk, you are welcome to return the item in the store. Just remember that the item must be unused, in original packaging and with original labels/brands. Remember to bring your receipt or a completed return slip.
How to return in store:
- You present a receipt or return slip.
- You will receive a receipt for delivery of the item.
- The price of the item, minus any discount, will be refunded immediately after we have received the item, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received the return item.
- The refund is made with the same means of payment and to the same account that was used for the original purchase.
- In the event of a decrease in value for which you are liable, this will be deducted from the original price.
In some cases, however, it will not be possible to return the item in the store. It can, for example, be large pieces of furniture. It will be clear from the product description on the webshop if the item exceptionally cannot be returned in the store.
If you are interested in another item in the store, you are of course welcome to buy it in the store. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a direct exchange from an item purchased online for another item in the store.
Please be aware that the product range in the store may vary from the range in the webshop. We therefore cannot guarantee that a product that you have seen in the webshop is also availbale in the store. This can either be because the store does not have the same assortment or because it is sold out.
We offer 14 days full right of return. This assumes that the item is unused and in original packaging with all original labels/brands intact.
If you wish to get the money back for your item, this will be granted on presentation of an invoice.

Buy a return label
If you send the package from Denmark, you have the option of purchasing a return label via our return portal. The price is DKK 39, which will be deducted from the amount we reimburse you. The return label will be sent to you by email. The return label can only be used for one shipment and for packages that can be sent via GLS package shops.

Return label from a country other than Denmark
If you want to buy a return label from a country other than Denmark, the price is the same as when you received the package. The price is set off in the refund. However, it is still a prerequisite that the package can be sent with GLS.
You cannot regret it by simply refusing to receive the item without giving a clear notice of this at the same time. If you choose not to pick up your package, we will offset the freight for the return shipment, which is DKK 50 for Danish orders.
If the order was originally sent to a country other than Denmark, the refund will, in the event of an undelivered package, be deducted the same as it cost in shipping to have the order sent.

Custom-made furniture/goods are not covered by the right of withdrawal. You cannot return furniture and products that have been specially ordered for your home, as this is designer furniture and falls under the category of custom-made furniture (made-to-order).
Note: the payment of custom-made products is collected at the time of order.
It is currently not possible to get gifts wrapped. We will though, when possible, send your order in a Louisiana paper bag.
There is an extended right of return on Christmas gifts. Christmas presents bought in the period 1 November to 24 December 2023 can be returned until 7 January 2024.
If you have not received an e-mail with a confirmation of receipt of your order as well as a binding order confirmation, it is a good idea to check whether it has ended up in your folder with advertisements or junk mail. If this is not the case, you are welcome to contact our customer service. Please have your order number ready before contacting customer service by telephone. We also recommend that you check whether you have entered the correct e-mail address, as errors in this often result in missing e-mails from our system.
If, contrary to expectations, there should be errors, deficiencies or damage to your goods upon receipt, please contact our customer service and make a further agreement, and we will of course exchange for another product. In the case of errors, defects or damage, we will refund the postage.
Danish return packages
If you are sending the package from Denmark, please use our return portal, where you will be sent a return label by email. Note that if the shipment is divided into several packages, then a corresponding number of return labels must be booked. The returns portal can only be used for shipments with GLS.

Damage to packages sent with GLS
As we have to report the damage to GLS, we would like to ask you to send us photographs of the following:
- Photos of the outer surface of the package – the box in its entire length
- Photos of the total internal protection
- Photos of the damaged content
- Photos of the affixed GLS label on one of the images of the packaging, where the GLS package number appears
Damage to packages sent with UPS
As we have to report the damage to UPS, we would like to ask you to send us photographs of the following:
- Photo of the damaged item
- Photo showing the damaged item in the original box with all the original protective padding (the photo must show the location of the item and packaging inside the box)
- Photo of the packaging material used inside the box (e.g. bubble wrap, foam balls, cardboard partitions, etc.)
- A close-up of the shipping label with the tracking number (take the photo close enough to read the tracking number, which typically starts with 1Z)
- Two photos showing all six sides of the package (one photo should show the top and two of the sides. The second photo should show the bottom and the other two sides.)
- The dimensions of the box, including the package's height, length and width
UPS may need to inspect your damaged shipment. We therefore ask you to keep the packaging while UPS processes our compensation claim.
Prices and assortment
Louisiana Design Butik's webshop has a curated selection of furniture, interiors, ceramics, books and accessories.
The selection varies from the physical shop at the museum. Therefore, you may find that some items are available online but not in the physical store - and vice versa. This is either because the item is sold out or because the range is different. If the item is only available online due to assortment composition, this will be indicated in the product description.
At butik.louisiana.dk we offer price matching on furniture and lamps.
What can I do if I find the product cheaper elsewhere?
Should you unexpectedly find a product cheaper at another Danish-owned webshop, we offer a price match at the time of purchase. You can contact our customer service by email, with attached documentation (screen print) and a link to the item in question. The staff must know when and where you have seen the item cheaper, in order to help you further with your enquiry.
Criteria for price match :
- The item must be sold from a Danish-owned webshop.
- The price must apply at the time of trade.
- The item must be the same model, color and size.
- The item must be in stock at the competitor at the time of the price match.
- The item must not be a knock-off, queue, membership or opening offer, be in limited quantities or wholesale items.
- Price match is excl. freight.
