The Aymara plaid is made from the purest and finest alpaca wool from Bolivia. The plaid is designed by Danish Herman Studio and produced according to Bolivian craft traditions.
Herman Studio was founded in 2012 by the two furniture architects Helle Herman Mortensen and Jonas Herman Pedersen. Herman Studio himself states: "The design was inspired by our trip to Bolivia. It was an interesting encounter with a rich and colorful culture that has a long tradition and expertise in alpaca wool. The impressions and respect for craftsmanship combined with our Nordic design background has resulted in a textile series in soft colors with a graphic expression."
